Daniella Ford United Soccer Coaches Player of the Week

Kansas City, Mo. - For the first time in her career, junior goalkeeper Daniella Ford (Elmont, N.Y.) has been named the United Soccer Coaches Division III Women's Soccer National Player of the Week.

Ford tallied a 3-1 record (2-0 Skyline) with a 0.31 goals against average during the week. She recorded 21 saves while only allowing one goal for a .955 save percentage. Over the weekend Ford produced back-to-back, 10-save efforts against top-20 competition, first against the defending national champion #2 Williams on Saturday and then in a 1-0 win versus #19 Swarthmore on Sunday.

Earlier in the week, Ford did not allow a goal in Skyline play as the Rams earned a pair of shutout victories against St. Joseph's-Brooklyn and Purchase. She currently leads the conference with five shutouts and a 0.75 goals against average on the season.
