Newburgh, N.Y. - Trailing 1-0 at the halftime break, Mount Saint Mary used two second half goals to earn a 2-1 Skyline Conference victory on Wednesday evening. The Farmingdale State women's soccer team finishes the regular season 11-7-2 overall and 8-1 in the conference.

FSC opened the scoring 10:12 into the game as sophomore midfielder Edasia Martinez (Brentwood, N.Y.) forced a turnover and shot it past Knights senior goalie Mary Riley (Newburgh, N.Y.) for the early 1-0 lead.

MSMC (15-3-1, 9-0) tallied their first goal just 11:48 after the halftime break as a Farmingdale State foul led to a free-kick goal by senior defender Destiny Ribadeneyra (Maybrook, N.Y.) from the top of the box to tie the score, 1-1.

The Knights scored their second and eventual game-winning goal at 64:39 on their only corner kick of the half. Ribadeneyra served the ball, which was headed by senior defender Bridget McKeever (Wallkill, N.Y.) to senior midfielder Nicole Cavallo (Hopewell Junction, N.Y.) for the shot and goal.
