Turner-Wyatt Leads #4 Williams Over FSC

Williamstown, Mass. - In a non-conference women's soccer match this afternoon, #4 Williams College junior midfielder Natalie Turner-Wyatt (Brooklyn, N.Y.) scored a pair of goals to lead the Ephs to a 2-0 victory over Farmingdale State. The Rams drop to 6-5-2 on the year, while the Ephs remain undefeated at 9-0-1.

Turner-Wyatt tallied her first goal just 4:29 into the contest as she received a pass from sophomore defender Alison Lu (Palo Alto, Cal.) and dribbled through the Rams defense for the shot and goal. The Ephs headed into the break leading 1-0 and holding a 6-3 shot advantage.

Just over three minutes into the second half, Turner-Wyatt recorded her second score of the game off the feed from Lu to double the Williams advantage to 2-0.

The game remained scoreless over the final 41:53 as the Ephs took the 2-0 non-conference victory.

Rams sophomore goalkeeper Daniella Ford (Elmont, N.Y.) finished with six saves on the day, while Williams junior goalie Olivia Barnhill (New York, N.Y.) made two saves in the shutout.

Farmingdale State next returns to Skyline Conference action as they host Maritime on Wednesday, October 11th at 4:00 p.m.
