Throggs Neck, N.Y. - The FSC women's soccer team traveled to Maritime for a Skyline Conference game on Friday evening and won, 9-0. The Rams now stand at 7-7-3 overall and are a perfect 7-0 in conference action.
Leading 4-0 midway through the first half, Farmingdale State's Alyssa Parrotta (Centereach, N.Y.) recorded back-to-back goals to extend the advantage to 6-0. With 9:27 left to play in the first, junior forward Erika Anzalone (North Bellmore, N.Y.) tallied a score to open up a seven-goal lead. FSC added goals by junior forward Aracely Romero (Bay Shore, N.Y.) and junior midfielder Ana Campos (Bay Shore, N.Y.) to cap off the 9-0 victory.
The Rams held Maritime (4-12, 1-5) to only two shots, both of which came in the second half.
FSC will now travel to Skidmore for a non-conference game on Saturday, October 15th at 2:30 p.m.
