Rams Shutout Yeshiva in Skyline Win

Farmingdale, N.Y. - The Farmingdale State women's soccer team shutout Yeshiva, 8-0, in a Skyline Conference game this afternoon. The Rams improved to 6-6-3 overall and 6-0 in conference play, while the Maccabees dropped to 0-12, 0-8.

Within the first 9:02 of the game, Farmingdale State sophomore midfielder Destiny Pomarico (West Babylon, N.Y.) and junior forward Taylor Howard (Massapequa Park, N.Y.) each scored twice to open up a 4-0 advantage. The Rams tacked on four more goals in the first half to take an 8-0 lead into the break.

In the second half, neither team would score as the Rams earned the 8-0 victory.

FSC returns to action on Wednesday, October 12th with a home non-conference game against Stevens.
