Howard, Khare and Martin Leads Rams Offense at Purchase

Purchase, N.Y. - Two goals by senior midfielder Amanda Khare (Deer Park, N.Y.) in the first half gave the Rams a 2-0 lead en route to the 6-0 conference victory against Purchase College () today. Farmingdale State improved to 2-5-3 with the win.

Sophomore defender Jordan Martin (Citrus County, Fla.) and junior forward Taylor Howard (Massapequa Park, N.Y.) assisted on Khare's goals, before Howard tallied her own off a rebound in the 50th minute. Five minutes later, sophomore midfielder Destiny Pomarico (West Babylon, N.Y.) crossed a ball to freshman defender Elizabeth Dasilva (Franklin Square, N.Y.) who sent a shot into the upper net for the 4-0 Rams advantage.

With 22 minutes left in regulation, Howard netted her second of the day off a thru ball from Martin (her second assist of the day). Junior forward Erika Anzalone (North Bellmore, N.Y.) scored the final goal for Farmingdale State, who now stands at 2-0 in Skyline play.
