Farmingdale, N.Y. - The women's soccer team fell short in their pursuit of a ninth consecutive Skyline Conference Championship in the 2015 season. The Rams were the top-seed heading into the playoffs and fell to #3 St. Joseph's-LI in penalty kicks in the Semifinals. FSC finished the year with a 12-5-3 record.

On October 10th, Farmingdale State traveled to #1 Messiah and forced a 0-0 double overtime time. This was the first time that Messiah had been shutout in 10 years.

The Rams had six players named All-Conference as sophomore forward Taylor Howard (Massapequa Park, N.Y.) was the Skyline Conference Player of the Year and senior defender Andrea Kiefer* (Patchogue, N.Y.), junior midfielder Alena Gannon* (North Babylon, N.Y.) and junior forward Ashley Guerrero (East Meadow, N.Y.) were all named to the First Team. Senior forward Ashlee Thompson (Ronkonkoma, N.Y.) and freshman defender Alyssa Gaynor (East Northport, N.Y.) both earned Second Team All-Conference honors.

Guerrero led FSC offensively with 29 points on 12 goals and five assists this season. Howard tallied eight goals and five assists, while Thompson pitched in with seven goals and a team-high six assists. Gannon and junior midfielder Amanda Khare (Deer Park, N.Y.) each totaled 15 points with six goals and three assists.

Kiefer and Gaynor anchored a defense that recorded 13 shutouts this year. Farmingdale State did not allow a goal in any of their last 11 games.

Freshman goalkeeper Karla Gomes (Carle Place, N.Y.) allowed one goal in 13 games played, while posting a 0.12 goals against average and a .972 save percentage.

The Rams graduated seven seniors this season.
