New York, N.Y. - The Skyline Conference released the women's soccer All-Conference teams after voting was conducted by the league's 10 head coaches.

Farmingdale State had six players named All-Skyline as sophomore forward Taylor Howard (Massapequa Park, N.Y.) earned Player of the Year honors to follow up a Rookie of the Year award in 2014. Junior midfielders Alena Gannon* (North Babylon, N.Y.) and Ashley Guerrero (East Meadow, N.Y.) along with senior defender Andrea Kiefer* (Centereach, N.Y.) were named to the First Team, while senior forward Ashlee Thompson (Ronkonkoma, N.Y.) and freshman defender Alyssa Gaynor (East Northport, N.Y.) earned Second Team honors.

Howard ranked second on Farmingdale State in goals (8), assists (5) and points (21) and third with two game-winning goals this season. Howard recorded a career-high five assists and led an offence that is ranked eighth in Division III for goals, 12th in points and 19th for assists.

Gannon, a team captain, ranked fourth on FSC in both goals (6) and points (15) and was fifth for assists (3).

Guerrero tallied a team-leading 12 goals, while also leading the Rams in points (29) and game-winning scores (3). In the Skyline, she ranked second for game-winners, fourth in goals, fifth for points and seventh in goals per game and points per game.

Kiefer, a 2-time Defensive Player of the Year and team captain, anchored a defense that held a 0.77 goals against average this season. She helped lead the Rams to a 0-0 tie at #1 Messiah on October 10 - the first time Messiah was shutout in 10 years (215 games).

Thompson led the team in assists (6) and was third in both goals (7) and points (20), while ranking 10th in the Skyline Conference in assists.

Gaynor started every game during her freshman season and is a major reason the Rams have recorded 10 consecutive shutouts.
