Women's Soccer Earns Three ECAC All-Stars

Centerville, Mass. - The Eastern College Athletic Conference (ECAC) announced its 2013 Division III Metro Women's Soccer All-Star teams on Friday, December 13th. Junior midfielder Bethany Bianco (Babylon, N.Y.) and freshman defender Alexa Orlando (Holtsville, N.Y.) were named to the First Team, while sophomore forward Ashlee Thompson (Ronkonkoma, N.Y.) earned Second Team honors.

Bianco, a First Team All-Skyline Conference selection, played in 22 games this season for the Rams. She controlled the midfielder for the 7-time conference champions and recorded one assist on the year.

Orlando, who appeared in every game, earned First Team All-Conference honors. She anchored the Farmingdale State defense that recorded shutout victories in 7-of-8 Skyline games.

Thompson, the Rams offensive leader, started all 23 games and was named First Team All-Conference. She tallied team-high's in goals (15), assists (5), points (35), game-winning goals (5) and penalty kick scores (2).
