- Jamie Smith named Player of the Week -
New York, N.Y. - The Skyline Conference released the fifth Women's Soccer report for the 2011 season this afternoon, including Player of the Week, Rookie of the Week, Honor Roll and Conference statistics.
Junior forward Jamie Smith (Ronkonkoma, N.Y.) was named the Skyline Conference Player of the Week for women's soccer. Smith exploded for three goals and three assists in a 2-1 week for Farmingdale State. She had two goals and two assists in an 8-0 win over NYU-Poly and added the lone goal in a 3-1 loss at Scranton. Smith also recorded an assist in the Skyline win over Purchase.
