Rams Fall at St. Joe's in Double Overtime

Coram, N.Y. - The Farmingdale State women's soccer team suffered a tough loss on Wednesday night in a Skyline Conference game against St. Joseph's College, played at the Diamond in the Pines complex in Coram, N.Y. The Rams fell 1-0 and now stand at 10-4, 5-1 in the conference with the loss.

Farmingdale State controlled the game throughout with a 15-6 shot advantage and eight corner kick opportunities, including six in the second half. The goal came on a miscommunication, resulting in an own goal and the win for the Golden Eagles (10-6-1, 7-1 Skyline).

St. Joseph's goalkeeper Michelle Gulino made six saves in the win, while Rams junior goalkeeper Amanda Maass (Mastic Beach, N.Y./William Floyd) made three saves in defeat.

Farmingdale State will now face NYU-Poly on Friday, October 15th at 11:00 a.m.
