Skyline Releases Women's Soccer Report #5
- Christina Merrill named Player of the Week -
Clifton Park, N.Y. - The Skyline Conference released the
fifth women's soccer report for the 2010 season this afternoon,
including Player of the Week, Rookie of the Week, Honor Roll and
Conference statistics.
Sophomore forward Christina Merrill (Levittown, N.Y./Island Trees) was named Skyline Conference Player of the Week. Merrill recorded a goal and three assists to lead the Rams to a pair of Skyline Conference victories. Merrill had a goal and two assists, all in the first 47 minutes, as Farmingdale State earned a 7-1 win at Purchase. She also assisted on Melissia Elie's eventual game-winning goal in the 10th minute as the Rams defeated Mount Saint Mary 2-0 to move to 4-0 in Skyline play.
