Farmingdale, NY - The Farmingdale State women's soccer team (1-4-2, 0-1 Skyline) fell 2-0 to visiting Stevens Institute of Technology (3-2-2, 1-0 Skyline) today in Farmingdale, NY.

Stevens took a 1-0 lead early when sophomore midfielder Salme Cook (Fairfax, VA/W.T. Woodson) scored off a corner kick from junior forward Sara Roeder (Portland, OR/Sunset) in the sixth minute of play. The Ducks added their final goal of the day with four seconds left in the half, as sophomore forward Meghan Tennyson (Folsom, LA/St. Scholastica Academy) knocked in a pass up the middle from junior midfielder Siena York-Carr (Davis, CA/Davis Senior). Goalkeeper Sherri Rosenberg (Bayonne, NJ/St. Dominic Academy) made two saves for the win.

Farmingdale State freshman goalkeeper Kimberly Sontag (Lynbrook, NY/Lynbrook) made eight saves in defeat.

The Rams host Widener University on Monday, September 25th at 4:00pm.
