Farmingdale, N.Y. - The Farmingdale State women's and men's basketball teams will be hosting a Play4Kay breast cancer awareness doubleheader tonight.
All four teams tonight will be wearing "United We Fight" pink t-shirts during warm-ups. We will also have a limited amount of t-shirts for fans to purchase, first-come first-serve. All proceeds raised at the event will benefit the Kay Yow Cancer Fund.
The women's team will open the doubleheader as they host Purchase College at 5:30 p.m. The Rams currently stand at 10-6 in the Skyline Conference and have clinched a berth into the Skyline Conference Championships.
The men's team follows with a conference game vs. Yeshiva at 8:00 p.m. The Rams defeated the Maccabees earlier this year, 69-60. Both Farmingdale State and Yeshiva have clinched a spot in the Skyline Championships, but the playoff seeding is still up for grabs. The Rams hold a 13-1 Skyline record, while the Maccabees stand at 9-4 overall.
Come support Farmingdale State as the season winds down...playoffs start on February 21st!
