The 2006 Farmingdale State Cross Country team had a great season. As a team, the men finished first at the Stevens Invitational 4K Run, second at the St. Joe's Invitational and third in the Skyline Conference, while also recording a 9th place finish at the Collegiate Track Conference Championships, the highest finish in school history. Bronx, NY - The men's cross-country team finished in 3rd place in the Skyline Conference and 5th place in the Halloween Classic on Sunday, October 29th, at the Van Cortlandt Park 5-mile course in Bronx, NY. In the Skyline results, sophomore Mike Landi (Farmingdale, NY/Farmingdale) led the team in 9th place individually with a time of 29:47.18. His time was an outstanding performance, running on an injured ankle and still setting a personal best. Center Valley, PA - The Rams ran on Saturday, October 14th at the CTC Championships meet at DeSales University in Center Vally, PA. The Rams finished in 9th place of 13 teams. The 9th place finish ties the highest CTC finish for Farmingdale. Last season, they finished in 12th place. Sophomore runner Mike Landi (Farmingdale, NY/Farmingdale) finished first for the Farmingdale State men's cross-country team and 103rd overall at the NYU Invitational at Van Cortlandt Park on Saturday, September 16th.
