Men's Track & Field; Sellitto Earn All-Academic Honors

New Orleans, La. - The U.S. Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA) have announced the 2016-17 NCAA Division III All-Academic Teams and individual award winners.

In order to receive All-Academic honors, the team must hold at least a 3.0 cumulative grade point average. For individual USTFCCCA All-Academic recognition, the student-athlete must have compiled a cumulative GPA of 3.30 and either competed in an NCAA Indoor or Outdoor Championship or finished the regular season ranked in the national top-50 in an individual event or ranked in the national top-35 in a relay event on the official NCAA Descending Order List.

The Farmingdale State men's track & field team held a 3.19 GPA to earn All-Academic honors. FSC sophomore Philip Sellitto (Levittown, N.Y.) was tabbed to the individual All-Academic list for 2016-17.
