Rams Again Say Hello to NCAA and ECAC's

The Men's Indoor Track Team placed 10th out of the 21 scoring teams at the Collegiate Track Conference Championships on February 12th – 13th. The Rams came home with nine Top-10 finishes, another NCAA qualifying jump by Andre Brown, two ECAC qualifiers and five personal bests.

Freshman Andre Brown took 2nd place in the Long Jump (7.06) at 23'2", bettering his first National Championships Qualifying performance by two and a quarter inches. Freshman Reggie Routier recorded two personal bests at the meet with a 2nd place finish in the 55m Hurdles in 8.14 seconds and he also took 5th place in the Triple Jump at 44' 1 ¼" - (13.44). Freshman Ian Lovergie took 2nd place in the High Jump at 6'4", qualifying him for the ECAC's. Freshman Reuben Hairston placed 7th in the Triple Jump at 42' 4 ½" (12.92). Junior Patric Santiago placed 8th with a personal best in the Triple Jump at 42' ½" (12.81) and also jumped a personal best 5'10" in the high jump. Alberto Soberanes ran a personal best 5000m race taking 10th place in a time of 16:59.3, moving him to 10th on the Farmingdale Top-Ten List.

The 4x200m Relay team of Andre Brown, Joseph Boaheng, Elloy Cassell and Ian Morgan placed 3rd with a time of 1:30.57, which qualifies them for the ECAC's and places them at #2 on the Farmingdale Top-Ten List.

The 4x400m Relay team of Tywaun Sanford, Reggie Routier, Ian Lovergie and Reuben Hairston took 6th place at 3:31.85.
