Rams Roll in Victory at St. Joseph's-Long Island

Patchogue, N.Y. - The Farmingdale State men's tennis team traveled to Patchogue, N.Y. for a Skyline Conference match at St. Joseph's-Long Island on Friday and earned a 9-0 victory. The Rams improved to 4-8 overall and 4-2 in conference action, while the Golden Eagles dropped to 2-7, 2-5.

At first doubles, the FSC pairing of Steven Gaudio (Miller Place, N.Y.) and Daniel Kafka (Massapequa Park, N.Y.) recorded an 8-4 win, while in the second slot, Bradley Maslak (Middle Island, N.Y.) and Matthew Ramsay (Bay Shore, N.Y.) won, 8-1. The Rams closed out the sweep with an 8-6 victory by Elijah McCall (West Babylon, N.Y.) and Chris Molchan (Mattituck, N.Y.) at #3 doubles.

In singles, Gaudio (6-2, 6-0), Maslak (6-3, 6-0), Kafka (6-4, 6-4), Molchan (6-3, 6-0), Cooper Everett (Long Beach, N.Y.) (4-6, 6-3, 10-6) and Colby Rodriguez (Huntington Station, N.Y.) (6-2, 6-1) all won their matches in the first through sixth positions, respectively.

Farmingdale State will close out the regular season with a home Skyline match against Mount Saint Mary later today at 12:30 p.m.
