Staten Island - 7, Farmingdale State - 2
Farmingdale, N.Y. - The FSC men's tennis team hosted Staten Island in a non-conference match on Friday afternoon and fell, 7-2. The Rams now stand at 2-8 on the season, while the Dolphins improved to 4-3.
Farmingdale State earned one point in doubles competition as the pairing of senior Marvin Beaubrun (Farmingdale, N.Y.) and sophomore Elijah McCall (West Babylon, N.Y.) recorded an 8-1 victory in the second position. Staten Island tallied 8-6 and 8-5 wins in the first and third positions, respectively.
In singles competition, FSC's point came in the #2 slot after junior Bradley Maslak (Middle Island, N.Y.) notched a 6-3, 6-1 victory.
The Rams return to conference action when they play host to Purchase on Saturday, April 14th at 11:30 a.m.
