Rams Earn 7-2 Victory at Western Connecticut

Danbury, Conn. - The Farmingdale State men's tennis team earned a 7-2 non-conference road victory at Western Connecticut on Sunday afternoon. With the win, FSC improved to 3-3 on the year, while WCSU dropped to 2-3.

Farmingdale State recorded 2-of-3 points in doubles competition. The pair of Zachary Baker (Glen Cove, N.Y.) and Dylan Murarka (Westbury, N.Y.) carded an 8-3 victory in the first position, while Patrick Madigan (Sayville, N.Y.) and Bradley Maslak (Middle Island, N.Y.) won 8-3 in the #2 slot.

In singles play, Baker (6-0, 6-0), Murarka (6-0, 6-1), Maslak (6-3, 6-2), Josh Kaplan (Greenlawn, N.Y.) (6-3, 6-2) and Madigan (6-3, 6-2) all earned victories in the first through fifth positions, respectively.

The FSC men's tennis team next will play host to St. Joseph's-Brooklyn in a Skyline Conference match on Tuesday, April 4th at 4:00 p.m.
