Men's Tennis Shuts Out Brooklyn for Third Win
Farmingdale State - 9, Brooklyn College - 0
Farmingdale, N.Y. - The Farmingdale State College men's tennis team shutout Brooklyn College, 9-0, on Tuesday afternoon in a non-conference match, cruising to their third win of the season. The Rams improved to 3-0 with the victory, while the Bulldogs fell to 0-6 with the loss.
Farmingdale State opened the match with three 8-0 wins in doubles play and continued to dominate through singles play. Freshman Christian Bormann (Huntington, N.Y.) defeated Brooklyn's Anthony Chan at 1st singles by a score of 6-2, 6-3.
The Rams will now host Hunter College on Friday, April 1st in a non-conference match at 4:00 p.m.
