FARMINGDALE, N.Y. | Sophomore striker Joseph Raso (E. Islip, N.Y.) netted his first-career goal 33 minutes into play Tuesday night off a feed from senior midfielder Luke Kasulke (Seaford, N.Y.), who followed with his first goal in a Farmingdale State College uniform three minutes after halftime to send the Rams to a 2-0, Skyline Conference victory versus SUNY Old Westbury.

FSC (3-5-2, 1-2-2 Skyline) took advantage of a free kick down the right wing to net the breakthrough, with Kasulke's service finding Raso at the six-yard box, who slotted home into the lower-right corner to put his side in front for good.

Just after the interval, Kasulke lined up a free kick outside the top-left corner of the penalty area, and curled home a right-footed shot into the left upper-90 to double the Rams' advantage.

Farmingdale State held a 19-4 edge in shots over the Panthers (1-7-1, 0-4-1) on the night, including a decided 14-1 margin in the second frame. The Rams' backline didn't allow a shot on target from Old Westbury in front of senior keeper Justin Silva (Bellerose, N.Y.) to earn the team's fourth clean sheet of the campaign.

Head coach Chuck Schimpf's FSC squad will next play host to defending Skyline champion College of Mount Saint Vincent on Saturday afternoon (Oct. 8) in a noon kickoff.
