Rutgers-Camden Rolls Past Rams at Cialella Soccer Classic

Camden, N.J. - The Farmingdale State men's soccer team fell to 1-4 on the season after a 4-0 loss to Rutgers-Camden on Saturday afternoon at the Cialella Soccer Classic hosted by Rutgers-Camden.

The Rams fell behind in the 16th minute of the first half after Rutgers' junior midfielder Steve Karakitsios (Sicklerville, N.J.) tapped in a rebound off his own saved shot for the 1-0 advantage. The score stood until halftime.

In the second half, Farmingdale State allowed three goals over an eight minute span with all three goals coming from junior defender Aaron Muse (Lumberton, N.J.) and assists coming from Karakitsios, Clayton Taylor and Brad Maine.

The Rams will next face Kean University on Sunday, September 11 at 2:00 p.m.
