Farmingdale, N.Y. - Trailing 1-0 early in the second half, Baruch scored three unanswered goals en route to a 3-1 non-conference win at Farmingdale State this afternoon. The Rams fell to 1-1 on the season.

In a defensive first half, freshman forward Samuele Riva (Cadrezzate, Italy) scored the lone goal for Farmingdale State (1-1) after being set up by sophomore defender Tobi Ojuade's (Rockville Centre, N.Y.) pass from midfield. The Rams held a 6-2 shot advantage in the first half.

10:06 after the halftime break, Baruch senior forward Armando Aguilar (Mexico City, Mexico) tied the game at 1-1 as Kevin Romero (San Salvador, El Salvador) recorded the assist. Only 5:06 later, the Bearcats took the lead on junior midfielder Edward Humphreys' (East Fish Kill, N.Y.) score. Sophomore midfielder Marcello Neto (Mount Vernon, N.Y.) extended the advantage to 3-1 in the 61st minute as Romero passed off of a free kick.

The Rams were held scoreless the rest of the way as they dropped their first game of the season.

Farmingdale State next will travel to Vassar College to face New Paltz on Saturday, September 6th at 4:00 p.m.
