Viteritti and Romero Named ECAC Division III Metro All-Stars

Centerville, Mass. - The Eastern College Athletic Conference (ECAC) announced its 2013 Division III Metro Men's Soccer All-Stars on Thursday, December 12th. Senior goalkeeper Angelo Viteritti (Huntington, N.Y.) and sophomore midfielder Victor Romero (Bay Shore, N.Y.) were named Second Team All-Stars.

Viteritti, a First Team All-Conference selection, ranked second in the Skyline in saves, third in saves per game and fourth in both save percentage and goals against average. After starting 19 games in goal, he finished the season with a .836 save percentage and a 1.15 goals against average. He will leave Farmingdale State as the school record holder for career save percentage and ranked second in shutouts (15).

Romero, who started every game for the Rams, earned First Team All-Conference honors. He was second on the team with five goals and added two assists for 12 points this season. Romero also scored the game-winning goal at Brooklyn College on September 18th.
