Purchase, N.Y. - A goal with 13 minutes remaining in the second half would give the Purchase College (4-2-1, 2-1) men's soccer team a 1-0 victory over Farmingdale State (2-8, 1-2) on Wednesday night in Purchase, N.Y. The Rams outshot the Panthers 15-9 in the rainy conditions, but could not convert in their second Skyline loss of the year.
Purchase sophomore Blaise Bourgeois (Rochester, N.Y.) scored the eventual game-winner, sending home a tough angled shot from 10 yards out, while senior goalkeeper David Kurzweil (Bedford, N.Y.) made eight saves between the posts.
Farmingdale State will host conference opponent Maritime College next, on Tuesday, October 4th at 4:00 p.m.
