Indianapolis, Ind. - The NCAA Division III Baseball Committee has announced the 54 teams that will compete in the 2008 NCAA Division III Baseball Championship. Junior shortstop Brian Benvenuto (Dix Hills, N.Y./Hills West) was named Skyline Conference Player of the Week for men's baseball. He had a strong spring trip for Farmingdale State College. Benvenuto, who batted .423 in nine games, had 11 hits (3 doubles, 1 home run), 12 runs batted in five runs scored, four walks and two stolen bases.
