- Kim named Player of the Week & Collings tabbed Rookie of the Week


New York, N.Y. - The Skyline Conference released its second fall weekly report on Monday, September 13th, including Player of the Week, Rookie of the Week, Honor Roll and Conference statistics.

Men's Golf Update - Skyline Full Report

The men's golf team placed third out of 11 teams at the Rosemont College Invitational held at the Olde Homestead Golf Club in New Tripoli, Penn.

Freshman Mackenzie Kim (East Quogue, N.Y.) was named Skyline Conference Player of the Week. Kim tied for fourth overall out of 60 players with a two day total of 147 (+3). He opened with a 74 and followed with career-low round of 73 on Sunday.

The Rams next will travel to The Links at Union Vale in LaGrangeville, N.Y. for the Manhattanville Skyline Invitational on Friday, September 17th.

 

Women's Tennis Update (1-1, 0-0 Skyline) - Skyline Full Report

The women's tennis team played host to Hunter College and earned a 7-2 non-conference victory.

Freshman Lien Collings (Merrick, N.Y.) was tabbed Skyline Conference Rookie of the Week. She was perfect in singles and doubles in the win over Hunter.  At third singles, she earned a 7-5, 6-3 win and posted an 8-3 victory at second doubles.  

Sophomore Rosa Lettieri (West Islip, N.Y.) earned a spot on the Honor Roll after picking up wins at both #2 singles and #2 doubles.

Farmingdale State will play three matches this week: Tuesday vs. Baruch @ 6:00 p.m., Saturday at Oneonta @ 11:00 a.m. and Sunday at Plattsburgh @ 10:00 a.m.

 

Women's Soccer Update (2-2, 0-0 Skyline) - Skyline Full Report

The Rams posted a 1-1 mark last week after falling 3-0 to #5 Carnegie Mellon and recording a 2-1 win over Shenandoah.

This week FSC is slated to play a pair of Skyline Conference home games: Tuesday vs. Maritime @ 4:00 p.m. and Saturday vs. St. Joseph's-LI @ 11:00 a.m.

 

Women's Volleyball Update (2-5, 0-0 Skyline) - Skyline Full Report

The women's volleyball team was 3-2 on the week with 3-0 victories over both Rhode Island College and Worcester State.

Farmingdale State will play three matches this week: Tuesday vs. Baruch @ 7:00 p.m. and two games at Montclair State on Saturday (FSC vs. Montclair State @ 1:00 p.m. and FSC vs. New Paltz @ 3:00 p.m.).

 

Men's Soccer Update (2-2, 0-0 Skyline) - Skyline Full Report

Farmingdale State was 1-1 last week with a 3-1 win at Baruch and a 1-0 loss at New Paltz.

This week the Rams will host non-conference opponent FDU-Florham on Saturday at 2:00 p.m.

 

Cross Country Update - Men's Full Report  - Women's Full Report

The cross country teams had the week off and return to action on Sunday, September 26th for the Mount Saint Mary College Knight Invitational.
