Farmingdale, N.Y. - The Farmingdale State men's golf team posted an opening round team-total of 313 at the Skyline Conference Championship at the Bethpage State Park - Blue Course. The Rams hold a seven stroke lead over Manhattanville after day one.

FSC was led by freshman Chris Iguchi (Centereach, N.Y.) who shot a team-best round of 75. Iguchi was 4-over par after 11 holes and played the final seven 1-under. He is currently in second place individually only one shot behind the leader Reid Robertson (74) from Manhattanville.

Freshman Brad Castaldy (Dix Hills, N.Y.) played the final eight holes 1-under par en route to a 77, while freshman Mackenzie Kim (East Quogue, N.Y.) recorded a 79. Senior Eli Leone-Formisano (Monroe, N.Y.) carded an opening round of 82 for the Rams.

Tomorrow's final round begins at 9:00 a.m.

The winner of the Skyline Championship will earn the conference's automatic bid into the 2022 NCAA Division III Men's Golf Championships at Mission Inn Resort and Club in Howey-in-the-Hills, Florida from May 10th-13th.
